The Port of Gdynia continues to rank as one of Poland's leading ports, ensuring efficient handling of diverse cargo groups and supporting the development of the national maritime economy. The cargo handling results in other categories further illustrate this success.
Key sector developments
- Dynamic growth is evident in the ro-ro technology segment, where handling volumes increased by over 20% compared to the previous year. The grain segment reached 5.5 million tons. Despite a decline due to normalization following extraordinary results caused by geopolitical factors, Gdynia maintains its dominant market position – explained president Gorzeński.

Financial achievements
- Our net profit exceeded 140 million PLN, reflecting a growth of more than 32% compared to 2023. This result highlights the effectiveness of our initiatives and the stable financial position of the port – said Katarzyna Gruszecka-Spychała, vice president of the Port of Gdynia Authority.
The Port of Gdynia remains a leader in innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, solidifying its role as a cornerstone of Poland's maritime industry.
