On Friday, March 7, 2025, Gdynia Maritime University will open its doors to all those interested in learning about education at one of the most renowned maritime universities in Europe. The GMU Open Day is a unique opportunity to explore modern laboratories, simulators, and discover the university's educational offer.

The event will take place in two locations – at the main GMU building on Morska Street in the Grabówek district of Gdynia, and at the Faculty of Navigation building on Jana Pawła II Avenue, next to the Gdynia marina. From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, participants will have the chance to visit cutting-edge laboratories, attend lectures and workshops, and engage in conversations with students and academic staff. The program also includes presentations by student research clubs, showcasing the university's research activities and projects.
Gdynia Maritime University is the oldest maritime university in Poland, educating specialists for the maritime, port, and logistics sectors. A visit during the Open Day is not only an opportunity to learn about the educational offer but also a chance to experience academic life and career prospects in the maritime industry.
