The Good Energy Farm returns to Ustka. PGE promotes offshore wind awareness on the Baltic coast
From July 31 to August 13, 2025, the PGE Foundation invites residents and tourists to experience the Good Energy Farm on the beach in Ustka – a public engagement initiative focused on offshore wind energy and renewable power sources. Located at entrance no. 25, the interactive zone offers hands-on education and family-friendly activities aimed at raising awareness about offshore wind development in the Baltic Sea.

The event supports the long-term strategy of the PGE Group, which is building its offshore wind operations and maintenance base in Ustka. This facility will be the heart of service operations for Baltica 2, Poland’s largest offshore wind project currently under development in partnership with Ørsted.
- We want both residents and summer visitors to understand Ustka’s strategic role in Poland’s energy transition, says Katarzyna Wasilewska, President of the PGE Foundation. - Through the Good Energy Farm, we’re connecting the public with offshore wind energy in an engaging and accessible way.
Baltica 2, with a capacity of 1.5 GW, is expected to provide clean electricity to around 2.5 million households. The Ustka-based operations hub, scheduled to launch in Q4 2026, will coordinate maintenance, logistics, and real-time monitoring of wind turbines operating in the Baltic Sea. The investment will also reshape Ustka’s port and create new employment opportunities in the region.
This year’s Good Energy Farm features an expanded programme with more interactive zones and educational formats. Visitors can explore how offshore turbines work, take part in solar-powered model races, and participate in creative workshops – including wind turbine building and kinetic bubble-making machines powered by bicycles. Daily activities include yoga sessions, breathwork classes, first aid training, and storytelling for children.
To engage younger audiences, PGE's Energy Crew mascots – Solario (solar), Turbino (wind), and Aquos (hydro) – will be on site to introduce the fundamentals of renewable energy in a fun, approachable way.
The zone is open daily:
- Sunday to Thursday: 10:00–18:00
- Friday and Saturday: 10:00–20:00
The Good Energy Farm in Ustka exemplifies how public education can support major offshore wind infrastructure by strengthening community involvement and local awareness.
