This weekend, the skies above the seaside spa town of Dąbki in northwestern Poland have transformed into a canvas of vibrant motion and creativity, as the International Kite Festival returns to the Baltic coast. Held from June 19 to 22, the event has become one of the region’s most visually captivating celebrations, drawing kite enthusiasts, families, and tourists from across Europe.

Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Poland are all represented at this year’s festival, with participants showcasing aerial sculptures ranging from traditional single-line kites to intricate multi-line formations and massive, animated figures.

- Each kite is a work of art suspended in the wind, organizers say, highlighting the craftsmanship behind every creation.

The festival is open to the public and continues Saturday and Sunday (June 21–22) from 10:00 a.m., with the main viewing area located at Beach Entrance No. 1 in Dąbki.
