Robert Lewandowski becomes Sunreef Yachts ambassador, orders 80-foot power catamaran built in Poland
Robert Lewandowski has joined Sunreef Yachts as a brand ambassador and has placed an order for an 80 Sunreef Power NEXT catamaran. The Polish international footballer and FC Barcelona striker will take delivery of a fully custom power multihull built at the company’s facilities in Gdańsk, reinforcing Poland’s position in the global luxury yacht manufacturing sector.

The agreement combines an ambassadorial partnership with a commercial contract and reflects Sunreef Yachts’ long-standing strategy of aligning with high-profile figures from elite sport while maintaining a strong focus on bespoke yacht construction.
Sunreef Yachts is internationally recognised for designing and building custom sailing and power catamarans, as well as large multihull superyachts. While the brand operates on a global scale, its core production remains located in the Tri-City area, supplying owners from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.
Commenting on his decision, Lewandowski highlighted both the brand’s design philosophy and its connection to sport:
- Sunreef is a perfect match for me. I have been following the brand for some time and I believe it truly stands out. There is a strong focus on style and creativity, but also a dynamic character and a clear synergy with the world of sport. Spending more time on the water is part of my long-term plans. After careful research, I can say I have found the yacht that will allow me to make this plan a reality, said Robert Lewandowski.
A fully customised 80 Sunreef Power NEXT
The 80 Sunreef Power NEXT is a nearly 24-metre power catamaran designed to maximise usable volume, outdoor living areas and onboard functionality. Lewandowski’s yacht is being developed as a fully bespoke project, tailored to the owner’s individual requirements.
According to the shipyard, the vessel will feature a jet ski garage, an expansive Ocean Lounge functioning as a walk-around beach club, and multiple alfresco relaxation zones. The flybridge is intended as a multifunctional space suitable for both leisure and social use.
While neither technical specifications nor contract value have been disclosed, vessels of this size and level of customisation typically represent the upper segment of the power catamaran market.
Strategic value for the shipyard
From Sunreef Yachts’ perspective, the partnership carries significant brand and market relevance. Founder and President Francis Lapp emphasised the alignment between the athlete’s profile and the company’s values:
