Key leadership changes announced in the Polish Armed Forces
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak‑Kamysz has officially presented new appointments to three senior officers of the Polish Armed Forces, placing them in critical leadership and operational roles.

- Brig. Gen. Roman Łytkowski has been appointed Deputy Commander of the 11th Armoured Cavalry Division and Chief of Staff. His extensive experience in armored unit command and land operations is expected to strengthen tactical capabilities and operational coordination within the division.
- Col. Krzysztof Klin assumes the role of Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate and Chief of Logistics. He is tasked with optimizing logistics processes, ensuring uninterrupted supply lines, and providing operational support to units nationwide.
- Vice Admiral Jarosław Wypijewski has been designated Assistant to the Chief of the General Staff for the Polish Navy. His responsibilities include coordinating operational and strategic activities of the naval forces, as well as supporting fleet modernization and strategic planning.
Minister Władysław Kosiniak‑Kamysz emphasized that the knowledge and experience of these officers will contribute to building a stronger, more modern military, enhancing Poland’s national security, and improving joint operational efficiency across different service branches.
These changes highlight the Polish Armed Forces’ commitment to integrated command, efficient logistics, and technological modernization, preparing the military for evolving operational and strategic challenges.
