Romania is currently emerging as one of the most important markets in Central and Eastern Europe, both from an industrial and strategic security perspective. As a key contributor to the stability of NATO’s eastern flank, the country is gaining relevance for defense and technology cooperation. WB Group’s entry into the Romanian market aligns with its broader objective of strengthening its footprint across Europe.
Favorable business conditions, combined with access to a highly skilled workforce and a well-developed industrial base, make Romania an attractive destination for investment. Local capabilities are expected to support the execution of projects not only for regional clients but also for broader international operations.
WB Group has built its position over the years through the development of multi-domain unmanned systems, advanced ICT solutions, tactical communications, and command-and-control support systems. One of its core competencies remains the integration of complex technologies into cohesive operational environments.
Solutions developed by Polish engineers are designed as part of a broader information ecosystem, enabling seamless data exchange, interoperability across platforms, enhanced situational awareness, and effective coordination of operations. These systems are adaptable both within WB Group’s own architecture and in cooperation with partner technologies.
The establishment of WB Romania also reflects a wider effort to strengthen industrial cooperation across Central and Eastern Europe. WB Group continues to build partnerships in the region, focusing on capability development based on shared operational experience and evolving security requirements.
Poland and Romania already maintain strong ties not only in economic cooperation but also in defense. The presence of Polish troops in Romania and Romanian forces in Poland underscores a shared approach to security challenges. The creation of WB Romania represents a natural extension of this cooperation into the industrial domain.
To date, WB Group’s international expansion has included operations in Ukraine, the United States, and Malaysia. Entering the Romanian market expands its presence into the EU while maintaining a consistent operational model across all entities.
For nearly three decades, WB Group has delivered and integrated advanced technological systems, collaborating with both major defense contractors and smaller technology firms. The company continues to demonstrate its ability to translate experience into innovation, reinforcing its role as a reliable partner in building Europe’s technological sovereignty and collective security.
