"80 Years of Szczecin" – History Illuminated on City Hall

Saturday evening saw the heart of the city transformed into a stage of light and sound. A 3D video mapping projection titled “80 Years of Szczecin” lit up the historic façade of the City Hall on Plac Armii Krajowej. The show offered a stunning visual narrative – combining archival themes with futuristic elements – bringing the city’s complex maritime and post-war history to life.

Crowds gathered to watch as Szczecin’s story unfolded through immersive animations and a carefully curated soundtrack. The event demonstrated how digital art and urban storytelling can powerfully engage the public while reinforcing civic identity.

Come With Us Festival 2025 – Innovation Meets Nature

The same day, nearby Kasprowicz Park hosted the second day of the Come With Us Festival 2025 – a vibrant celebration of sustainable living, music, and community creativity. The morning opened with yoga, self-massage sessions and a live ambient concert surrounded by greenery. As the day progressed, the park became a hub for artistic workshops, family-friendly activities, and experimental culture.

Visitors explored macrame and painting workshops, participated in outdoor sports like Roundnet, and engaged with installations by the Szczecin Art Academy. A graffiti jam and experimental short film screenings added an urban edge to the open-air experience. In the evening, international and local acts brought the park to life with organic electronic and world music performances – with PHAO SANATO’s deeply spiritual set standing out as a highlight.

A Grand Finale Under the Stars – "Letters to Adele" at the Summer Theatre

The anniversary weekend concludes on Sunday, July 6th, with a special concert under the stars at the iconic Helena Majdaniec Summer Theatre. Titled “Letters to Adele”, the performance is a musical tribute to the British singer, featuring her greatest hits interwoven with real letters from fans reflecting on love, loss and hope.

The concert features renowned Polish performers Kasia Buja Kazuba and Maciek Kazuba, the Jackpot Quintet, Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, and rising talents Lena Tyszkiewicz and Jan Trybuła. A limited number of free seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, encouraging residents to take part in this emotional finale.
