Strategic lease opportunity next to the Baltic Sea’s largest container hub
The Port of Gdańsk Authority has announced a tender for the lease of a prime 3.3-hectare commercial site, located directly adjacent to Baltic Hub – the largest and fastest-growing container terminal on the Baltic Sea. This is a rare opportunity for companies in the logistics, forwarding, and intermodal transport sectors to secure a highly advantageous location within one of Europe’s most dynamic seaports.

Ready-to-use infrastructure for immediate operations
The site offers a plug-and-play solution. The land has been reinforced with precast concrete slabs (150 x 300 x 15 cm) laid on a compacted sand-gravel subbase, making it suitable for heavy equipment and oversized cargo operations. This eliminates the need for costly and time-consuming ground preparation, allowing future tenants to launch operations almost immediately.
Direct access to key road corridors
Located on Kontenerowa Street, the site offers excellent connectivity to major transport routes, including the Sucharskiego Route, the Southern Gdańsk Bypass, the A1 motorway, and the S7 expressway towards Warsaw. In addition, the tunnel under the Martwa Wisła River provides fast access between the eastern and western parts of the port and city.
Because the site lies within the administrative area of the port, transporting oversized cargo only requires approval from the Port of Gdańsk Authority, eliminating the need for permits from municipal road authorities. This results in significant time and cost savings for operators.
Rail access and sustainability benefits
The site borders a public rail loading track, offering smooth integration into intermodal supply chains. With rail transport playing a growing role in EU decarbonisation strategies, this adds further operational and environmental value. The Port of Gdańsk continues to expand its rail infrastructure in line with global sustainability goals and to support more resilient, low-emission logistics.
