Polish food moves closer to the Kazakh market. New export opportunities on the horizon
During a meeting between representatives of the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a clear message was received – the Kazakh market is ready to open up to Polish food products.

The first and most promising segment is high-quality Polish beef. However, discussions also covered a broader range of goods – from processed meat and dairy to other agri-food products.
A key theme throughout the talks was the high quality of Polish goods and their competitiveness on international markets.
Kazakhstan, as a dynamically developing economic partner in Central Asia, could become an important importer of Polish food products. Opening this direction offers new opportunities for Polish producers and exporters.
- The talks in Kazakhstan are not just economic diplomacy, but a real step towards new contracts. Polish beef is our premium product, appreciated across Europe and worldwide. Now we have a chance for it to become a hallmark of quality in Central Asia as well. What matters is that the Kazakh side approaches cooperation with openness and an understanding of our quality standards. I believe that soon, products with the label ‘Made in Poland’ will appear on shelves in Almaty and Astana, said Andrzej Jaworski, President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to participants, the dialogue was conducted in a spirit of specificity and mutual understanding. The next steps will focus on refining phytosanitary procedures.
