Polish Naval Academy cadets secure podium finish at Admiral’s Cup 2025
The Polish Naval Academy (Akademia Marynarki Wojennej) achieved a notable international success during the Admiral’s Cup 2025, held in India. Competing against naval academies from around the world, the Polish cadet team secured an impressive 3rd place in the team classification in the ILCA 6 class.

The Academy was represented by:
- Delegation Supervisor – Lt. (N) Ewelina Rucińska,
- Athletes – PO Cadet Tymon Gajdziński and Cadet Miłosz Królikowski.
The regatta featured a highly competitive fleet, with 31 naval academy delegations participating, including teams from Mexico, Bahrain, Japan, and South Africa. The demanding sailing conditions and high technical standards highlighted the professionalism, seamanship, and teamwork of the Polish cadets.
An additional distinction was awarded to Lt. (N) Ewelina Rucińska, who was appointed to serve on the Regatta Protest Committee. This nomination reflects her outstanding professional reputation, in-depth knowledge of international racing rules, and the trust placed in her by the international officiating community.
The result at Admiral’s Cup 2025 underscores the strong sailing training program of the Polish Naval Academy and confirms the growing international standing of its cadets within the global naval sports community.
