New Operational Unit of Sopot WOPR Launched on the Hel Peninsula
Sopot Water Rescue Service (Sopockie WOPR) has officially expanded its operational network through a newly signed cooperation agreement with the Centre for Training and Rescue FORMOZA RIB. As a result of this partnership, a new local unit – the Hel Team of Sopot WOPR – has been established to operate on the Hel Peninsula, a key area of Poland’s Baltic coastline.

This initiative marks a significant step forward in strengthening regional rescue structures, enhancing training efforts, and improving readiness for emergency response in high-traffic coastal zones. The collaboration leverages FORMOZA RIB’s technical and logistical expertise, enabling a more integrated and effective water rescue presence in the area.
