The Britannia service links major ports along the route, including Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Vung Tau, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, and Liverpool, with Gdynia now added to the lineup. The inclusion of the Port of Gdynia in this global network not only reinforces its status as a deepwater hub but also opens up significant opportunities for enhancing its role in international maritime trade.
Industry experts highlight that MSC Rose’s arrival will boost export transshipment volumes, support the growth of intermodal transport, and accelerate the development of the Outer Port project. Moreover, it represents a vital step toward diversifying Poland’s maritime logistics, enhancing the country’s competitiveness on the global stage.
- MSC Rose embodies tangible progress and strategic vision. While it may not carry the scent of a rose, it brings a breath of global opportunity to Gdynia, note representatives of the Port of Gdynia.
For the maritime sector, this is a clear signal: Gdynia is emerging as an increasingly critical link in the world’s supply chain.
