Joint exercises with the State Fire Service

Firefighter exercises are scheduled for 13 and 15 May at the construction site of the future PGE Baltica operations and maintenance base in Ustka.

The drills will include simulated emergency scenarios on the construction site, evacuation of a worker from a tower crane cabin, and practical training in the use of portable firefighting equipment.

According to DORACO, the exercises are aimed at improving emergency response procedures and strengthening cooperation between construction teams and rescue services.

Safety Week focused on prevention and training

In addition to the joint drills with firefighters, the Safety Week programme will include working-at-height training, first aid workshops, and practical AED defibrillator exercises for construction workers.

PGE Baltica will also provide eye protection training, covering potential workplace hazards, injury prevention, and the proper use of protective equipment. Workers will receive modern protective gear for daily operations at the construction site.

Strategic offshore wind support base in Ustka

The operations and maintenance base under construction in Ustka will serve offshore wind farms developed by PGE Baltica in the Baltic Sea.

Once completed, the facility will support the maintenance and servicing of offshore energy infrastructure and create new jobs in technical, logistics, and administrative fields.
