CRIST S.A. completes fabrication of BR01 bridge components for Eiffage Métal
Polish shipyard CRIST S.A. has successfully completed the fabrication and delivery of key steel components for the BR01 bridge project, executed in cooperation with Eiffage Métal. The project forms part of the ongoing expansion of the European Route E18, connecting northern Europe with Norway.

The scope of work carried out by CRIST S.A. included the prefabrication and delivery of major steel bridge elements, manufactured with high precision and according to stringent quality standards. The project highlights the company’s strong engineering capabilities and experience in producing complex steel structures for both the marine and infrastructure sectors.
Grenland Bridge – a landmark cable-stayed crossing
At the heart of the E18 expansion lies the Grenland Bridge, an impressive 600-metre-long cable-stayed structure designed to span a Norwegian fjord near Porsgrunn. The bridge is being built as part of the modernization of the E18 Langangen–Rugtvedt section, one of southern Norway’s key transport corridors.
The challenging geotechnical and environmental conditions in the area demanded advanced welding technologies, precise assembly methods, and strict adherence to international quality and safety standards. The Grenland Bridge exemplifies a modern approach to bridge engineering — combining functionality, environmental responsibility, and architectural aesthetics in a demanding natural setting.
A Polish contribution to a European route
