Saab pitches GlobalEye to Canada: a strategic AEW&C solution on a Canadian-built platform

During CANSEC 2025, Saab announced its readiness to offer GlobalEye to Canada as part of the country’s Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) program. The solution brings together Swedish engineering excellence and Canadian aerospace quality to deliver a powerful, sovereign capability aligned with national defence and industrial objectives.

At the core of Saab’s proposal is the Bombardier Global 6000/6500 – a Canadian-made platform renowned for its long range, endurance, and high-altitude performance. Saab integrates this proven airframe with a suite of cutting-edge sensors, surveillance radars, and mission systems, offering the Canadian Armed Forces a multi-domain force multiplier that is operationally robust and cost-effective.
