The event featured teams from various military academies across Europe, bringing a high level of competition to the waters. The Polish team demonstrated excellent seamanship, tactical precision, and a cohesive team dynamic that allowed them to outpace their rivals.
Notably, Tymon Gajdziński, who already competes at the national level in the Polish Sailing League with BSA Flota Gdynia, steered the team with confidence and strategic insight. His experience proved to be a decisive asset, setting a strong foundation for the team's performance.
The crew’s success bodes well for the upcoming season, particularly as they form the core of the Naval Academy’s team for the 2025 Youth Sailing League. This early international victory signals their readiness to compete at a high level throughout the year.
KS Iskra AMW has consistently developed competitive sailors within the ranks of the Polish Naval Academy, blending academic excellence with high-performance sport. This recent result underscores the strength of their sailing program and the potential of its young sailors.
Congratulations to the crew – a promising start to the season, with fair winds ahead.
