Arka Gdynia players on board at PGZ Naval Shipyard

The players of Arka Gdynia had an unusual training session – instead of the pitch, grass, and a football, this time they faced... steel structures and the strength of the Polish shipbuilding industry. The first team and the coaching staff of the yellow and blue visited PGZ Naval Shipyard to see firsthand how ships are built for the Polish Navy.

- Collaboration with Arka Gdynia is an important part of building relationships with the local community. Both the Shipyard and the football club are deeply rooted in the history and identity of Gdynia. We share the same values: hard work, passion, and commitment to the city's development, said Marcin Ryngwelski, President of the Management Board of PGZ Naval Shipyard.

The visit was an opportunity to present the guests with the Shipyard's modern infrastructure and familiarize them with the specifics of the shipbuilding industry. At the end of the meeting, the players presented a signed team jersey to the representatives of the Shipyard.

PGZ Naval Shipyard actively engages in the life of the local community, supporting Gdynia's sports scene. The collaboration with Arka Gdynia is part of the #WspieramySportPomorza program, through which the Shipyard contributes to the development of regional sports and promotes an active lifestyle among the residents of Pomerania.
