Border Guard officers from the Władysławowo unit were called to the scene and confirmed the presence of the ammunition. The area was secured until a Police patrol arrived. Upon assessment, Police ordered the evacuation of the premises and took custody of the find.
According to specialists on site, the ammunition did not contain an active initiating charge, meaning it posed no immediate threat to the health and safety of people inside the restaurant.
The Police have launched an inquiry to determine the origin of the military-grade ammunition and how it ended up in a civilian facility.
