- I would like to thank the Inspectorate of the Polish Navy for the warm welcome and fruitful discussions. As countries possessing some of the largest and most significant armed forces within NATO in Europe, defense cooperation between Turkey and Poland plays a key role in ensuring the security of our nations and the entire continent - stated Ambassador Rauf Alp Denktaş.
The meeting provided an opportunity to highlight the shared values that unite both countries within the North Atlantic Alliance and to further develop military relations, particularly in the field of naval cooperation.
