Visit of Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda to Karlskrona. Will there be a breakthrough in the case of Polish submarines?

- We are strengthening the security of the Baltic Sea region - stated Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda.
According to the Ministry of National Defence, the meeting in Karlskrona included discussions on the implementation of the program for acquiring new vessels for the Navy (codename Orka), the maintenance and servicing in Poland of military equipment purchased from Sweden. Additionally, the prospects for industrial and defense cooperation were addressed, as well as Sweden's support in integrating Polish companies into supply chains.
Both sides emphasized the strategic importance of geopolitical challenges in the Baltic Sea region. Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda stressed that cooperation with the Swedish partner contributes to building a strong regional alliance.
The meeting in Karlskrona fits into the broader context of building stability and security in the Baltic Sea region. Poland and Sweden, as neighboring countries, share many common interests in the field of security and defense, and their cooperation is becoming increasingly dynamic.
