The drug seizure marks another success in the fight against international criminal networks engaged in maritime smuggling of illegal substances. USCG operations aim not only to secure shipping routes but also to limit the influx of narcotics into the United States and other countries in the region.

The crew of the Mohawk demonstrated vigilance and professionalism, effectively carrying out law enforcement duties in international waters. Such actions contribute to increased maritime security and the fight against transnational crime. The USCG emphasizes that each successful interdiction is another step toward weakening smuggling networks and improving security on global maritime routes.
