The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reports that on February 11, 2025, at 14:09 local time, a Russian Su-24MR aircraft entered Polish airspace over the eastern part of the Gdańsk Bay. The aircraft, originating from the Kaliningrad region, penetrated Polish territorial airspace to a maximum depth of 6.5 km, remaining inside for 1 minute and 12 seconds.

The flight was continuously monitored by the Polish Armed Forces’ radar systems. Following an intervention by a Russian Air Force navigator, the aircraft immediately altered its course. The Russian side has confirmed the airspace violation, attributing it to a failure in the Su-24MR’s navigation system.
Poland’s air defense remains on high alert, maintaining round-the-clock surveillance to ensure the security and integrity of national airspace.
