Hanwha Ocean and Famor to develop advanced electrical and lighting solutions for maritime sector

- Partnership with Famor enables us to implement innovative electrical and lighting solutions that are essential for the safety and reliability of vessels, said Steve SK Jeong, Head of Naval Ship International Business at Hanwha Ocean, during the signing of the agreement.

The cooperation covers the development of navigation and signaling lighting systems, as well as the design and construction of Multi Operational Consoles (MOC). Both companies emphasize that the agreement will enhance the efficiency and functionality of newbuilds and modernized vessels alike.

- For Famor, collaboration with Hanwha Ocean is an opportunity to participate in cutting-edge shipbuilding projects and to strengthen the presence of our solutions in international markets, noted Zdzisław Rakocy, Vice President of the Management Board at FAMOR SA.

The agreement opens new growth opportunities for Famor in the field of advanced technologies for the maritime industry, with strategic importance also for the defense sector and Poland’s ORKA submarine program.
