Under the contract, six new S200X-G2 crewboats will be progressively delivered between June and December 2026, with six existing vessels temporarily mobilized to secure operational continuity from the contract’s inception.
Designed to meet Eni’s specific operational and environmental criteria, the 20-metre vessels feature an optimized hydrodynamic hull, efficient propulsion, and integrated real-time energy performance monitoring (EFMS), targeting fuel savings of up to 20 % compared with earlier designs.
Each unit offers a 30-seat passenger cabin with enhanced comfort, USB ports, high-performance air conditioning and large screens, alongside a 25 m² foredeck for small cargo and an improved navigation bridge with better visibility and ergonomics for pilots.
The new vessels will support crew transfers to Eni’s offshore fields and two Floating LNG units, with reinforced operational backing from Bourbon Congo. The deal underscores Bourbon’s commitment to sustainable offshore mobility and stronger local partnerships.
