Autonomous training system for anti-submarine warfare in the Polish Navy
- At the end of the year, in accordance with the schedule, the Armament Agency took delivery of the AUV 62-AT system ordered for the Navy—a submarine drone designed for practicing anti-submarine warfare scenarios. From now on, we can further enhance the skills of our sailors and naval aviators, said Deputy Minister of National Defense Paweł Bejda.

The AUV 62-AT system is designed for advanced training in anti-submarine warfare (ASW), and its acquisition will enhance the training capabilities of personnel responsible for this area in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.
The value of the order is approximately 70 million Swedish kronor net.
According to the Polish Navy, the autonomous training system AUV 62-AT enables the execution of advanced training scenarios for ASW naval forces and maritime aviation without the involvement of a submarine.
This capability is crucial for the training needs of the Polish Navy, especially in connection with the acquisition of AW-101 maritime helicopters and the Miecznik-class multi-role frigates.
The primary component of the system is an autonomous unmanned underwater vehicle designed to simulate the physical fields generated by submarines. Notably, training conducted with the AUV 62-AT system reflects a high level of realism in ASW planning and exercise analysis while maintaining low costs.
The detailed specifications of the system are classified.
The AUV 62-AT system is also used by other NATO members and is currently the most advanced solution available on the market.
