A new era in superyacht construction
- The demoulding of the hull brings us closer to realizing one of the most revolutionary projects in the yachting industry. The Sunreef 43M Eco's construction stands out for its exceptional durability and weight efficiency. Its architecture, build quality, and green technologies make it the world's most advanced electric superyacht, said Francis Lapp, founder and president of Sunreef Yachts.
The hull of the Sunreef 43M Eco was created using a single-shot infusion technique, which results in a lighter and more durable structure while also reducing volatile organic compound emissions. Thanks to a modular construction approach, various yacht components can be developed simultaneously, significantly improving project management efficiency and construction precision.
The Sunreef 43M Eco will be equipped with over 120 m² of integrated solar panels, with a total photovoltaic module surface area of 250 m² across the yacht. Advanced solar technology and an electric propulsion system will make this vessel a symbol of clean and energy-efficient sailing.
The Sunreef 43M Eco will utilize hydrogeneration to produce clean energy while sailing and will feature innovative batteries with a capacity of 1 MWh. This solution marks a new chapter in the design of eco-friendly superyachts, eliminating the need for traditional fossil fuels.
By combining modern technologies with an environmentally conscious approach, the Sunreef 43M Eco heralds a revolution in the superyacht sector. It is not only a symbol of luxury but also proof that sustainability-driven innovations can shape the future of the entire maritime industry.
