As part of the visit, Border Guard officers held a lecture at the Maritime University of Szczecin, presenting the agency’s maritime operations. A promotional stand was also set up, where officers answered questions about recruitment and the specifics of service in the Border Guard.
- There was strong interest in the opportunity to tour the modern SG-301 patrol vessel, moored alongside the Chrobry Embankment. High school students and maritime university students had a unique chance to get a close-up look at the vessel’s equipment and learn about the working conditions of officers serving at sea, said Tadeusz Gruchalla, spokesperson for the Maritime Border Guard Unit (MOSG).
