Collision of vessels on the waterway
Both vessels – the 95-meter-long tourist ship flying the Swiss flag and the unloaded fuel barge – sustained minor damage. Following the collision, the Argonaut returned to Szczecin, while the Junker Joerg proceeded under its own power to Wały Chrobrego.
Medical assistance on site
Initial reports from the ship's captain indicated that emergency services intervention was unnecessary. However, after the vessel moored at 23:00, an ambulance was called for nine injured individuals, most of whom sustained bruises. One of the injured, an 84-year-old woman with head and hip injuries, was transported to the hospital.
