Constructed using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) – a fully recyclable, low-maintenance material – the new vessels combine proven Dutch craftsmanship with cutting-edge durability and operational efficiency. Their rugged yet lightweight build makes them ideally suited for harbour duties, patrol operations, hydrographic surveying, and dive support.
In keeping with Damen’s forward-looking approach, the HDPE series has been designed with digital integration in mind, ensuring compatibility with smart systems and remote monitoring technologies.
But this marks just the beginning. Damen is actively developing a suite of sustainable marine solutions – from environmentally conscious infrastructure such as floating jetties, to next-generation 3D-printed vessels.
