Agreement strengthens long-term defence industry and military partnership
WB Group signed the agreement with the Centrum Szkolenia Wojsk Rakietowych i Artylerii through representatives Adam Bartosiewicz, Vice President of WB Group, and Lt. Col. Bogumił Będkowski, Deputy Commandant of CSWRiA.
Focus on training and operational development
The partnership will cover joint training initiatives, demonstrations, analytical projects and expert cooperation aimed at improving operational procedures and the use of advanced artillery systems.
The agreement also includes the development and maintenance of training infrastructure, as well as promotional and educational activities supporting the preparation of artillery specialists.
According to WB Group representatives, cooperation with the Rocket Forces and Artillery has been one of the company’s key growth drivers since its foundation.
TOPAZ, FONET and GLADIUS at the core of cooperation
Over the years, WB Group has developed several flagship battlefield management and communications systems in close cooperation with Polish artillery units, including TOPAZ, FONET and the UKART artillery fire-control calculator.
The evolution of long-range strike capabilities also accelerated the company’s development of unmanned reconnaissance systems designed to support artillery operations at extended distances.
One of the most notable outcomes of this cooperation is the GLADIUS search-and-strike system, developed jointly by WB Group and the Rocket Forces and Artillery branch. The system integrates reconnaissance and strike capabilities within a single operational environment.
Supporting European defence capabilities
WB Group continues to position itself as a major supplier and integrator of advanced defence technologies, cooperating with both large industrial players and smaller specialist companies.
The company states that its long-term cooperation with the Polish Armed Forces has enabled it to transform operational experience into technological innovation while supporting European defence sovereignty and collective security initiatives.
