The event is aimed at individuals considering professional education in the Navigation and Marine Engineering programmes, which prepare graduates for careers aboard merchant vessels and in the wider maritime industry.

During the Open Day, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the school's training facilities, classrooms and specialist laboratories, while gaining first-hand insight into the practical aspects of maritime education. Academic staff and admissions representatives will be available to discuss the curriculum, training requirements, career pathways and the recruitment process.

The previous Open Day, organised on 24 July, attracted a large number of candidates interested in pursuing maritime qualifications. Participants had the chance to meet instructors, learn about the school's educational approach and gain a better understanding of the competencies required for a career at sea. The strong turnout highlighted the continued interest in maritime professions and the growing demand for qualified officers and marine engineers.

The upcoming event on 14 August offers another opportunity for prospective students who were unable to attend the July session or who are still considering their educational and professional options. Beyond presenting the school's programmes, the Open Day provides valuable insight into the realities of maritime training and the qualifications required to enter the international shipping industry.

With its strong emphasis on practical education, industry-oriented training and close alignment with the needs of the maritime sector, the School of Maritime Education in Gdynia continues to prepare future maritime professionals for careers in one of the world's most dynamic industries.

Further information about the school's educational programmes and the admissions process is available at rekrutacja.morska.edu.pl.
