Kamińska has been serving as Vice President for Finance since February 2025 and as Acting President since November 2025. She brings nearly 15 years of experience within the Energa Group, where she has held key financial leadership roles, including Director of the Finance Department. Her earlier career includes positions at global audit firms EY and Deloitte.
Her appointment comes at a critical time for the company’s strategic development, particularly in offshore wind and low-emission energy projects. Kamińska is a member of the Supervisory Board at Baltic Service Offshore Solutions, a subsidiary within the Energa Group supporting offshore operations, and serves on the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Committee. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Gdańsk.
At the same time, Przemysław Janiak has been appointed Vice President of the Management Board, also effective April 1. Janiak began his career at EY, advising major energy sector clients, before joining the ORLEN Group in 2016.
At ORLEN, he was responsible for strategic investment and market analysis within the power segment, including capacity market mechanisms. He has been actively involved in major energy projects such as combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) units, offshore wind farms, industrial CHP plants, photovoltaic installations, and energy storage systems.
Since 2020, Janiak has worked closely with the Energa Group on strategy and execution of investments in gas-fired generation, district heating, and offshore wind—an area of growing importance in the Baltic Sea region.
The Management Board of Energa SA for the 8th term will consist of:
- Magdalena Kamińska – President of the Management Board
- Piotr Szymanek – Vice President
- Michał Gołębiowski – Vice President
- Przemysław Janiak – Vice President
The leadership changes reflect Energa’s continued strategic shift toward renewable energy sources, with a strong emphasis on offshore wind development. The new management is expected to further advance the company’s role in Poland’s energy transition and strengthen its position in the Baltic offshore sector.
