From sailor to sailor. A training yacht from Giżycko

Last weekend, representatives of N’Fun Yachting—one of the companies featured by Żeglarski.info in the “Known and Unknown” series - launched another N’Fun 30 yacht in Giżycko. The vessel was tested on Lake Niegocin and then delivered to CSM Sport, where it will be used for training purposes in Iława, as well as on the Polish coast.

In 2014, Marek Stańczyk, who developed a passion for sailing at around the age of seven, founded N’Fun Yachting a company dedicated to building yachts that deliver emotions similar to those experienced on a regatta course. The Masurian boatbuilder continually strives for development, and recently one of its units was acquired by a training-focused company. The N’Fun 30 was thus launched in Giżycko and, after testing, transported to Iława, where it will serve a wide group of sailing enthusiasts.

- As a shipyard, we always test our yachts on the water in Giżycko before handing them over to the client. This time, it went to Iława and will be used for training. It will remain there for this season, and later it is planned to move it to the Gulf of Gdańsk, said Marek Stańczyk.

From Sailor to sailor

The buyer of the yacht is CSM Sport, owned by Maciej Sinczak, also a sailor. Throughout his career, he has sailed on catamarans and competed in windsurfing.

- I’ve been connected with the water since childhood—a multiple Polish champion and national team representative, with over 30 years of coaching experience. I combine competitive practice with teaching expertise, which makes my training dynamic, effective, and focused on real progress—for those who want to take their sailing to the next level. From spring through summer to autumn, I’m on the water—conducting sailing courses in Iława, the Masurian Lakes, Warsaw, the Gulf of Gdańsk, and at sea, including abroad, explained Maciej Sinczak.

The scope of his training is very broad. He works both with beginners aiming to obtain their yacht skipper license and with advanced sailors pursuing higher-level training and regatta preparation. He also organizes corporate sailing events, regattas, and team-building trips.

-The modern N’Fun 30 yacht is perfectly suited for this purpose, as it combines a sporty character with strong training capabilities, added Maciej Sinczak.
