Eurowind Energy launches educational campaign to promote renewable energy awareness among young students
As Europe accelerates its energy transition and offshore wind development, building awareness among future generations is becoming increasingly important. Responding to this challenge, Eurowind Energy has launched a nationwide educational campaign in Poland entitled "Turning Imagination, Powering the Future".

Renewable energy enters the classroom
The initiative, developed in cooperation with education expert Dr. Zuzanna Jastrzębska-Krajewska, aims to introduce primary school students to renewable energy technologies, with a particular focus on wind power.
The programme offers free educational resources for teachers and students in three age groups, covering grades 1–3, 4–6 and 7–8. Teaching materials include lesson plans, worksheets, workshop activities, an educational audio programme and a dedicated webinar for teachers.
Building energy literacy
The campaign focuses on practical learning and hands-on activities designed to explain how wind turbines operate, how electricity is generated from wind and how renewable energy contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
According to Dr. Jastrzębska-Krajewska, environmental education can be effectively combined with mathematics, experiments and project-based learning, helping students better understand energy production and sustainability challenges.
Supporting the future workforce
While targeted at primary schools, the initiative also reflects the growing need for long-term workforce development in the renewable energy sector, including the rapidly expanding offshore wind industry.
- Education and energy awareness among young people are essential for the future of local communities. Through free teaching materials and school visits, we want to explain how wind energy works and highlight the role that modern technologies will play in the future energy system, said Małgorzata Szambelańczyk, President of the Management Board at Eurowind Energy.
Competition and regional outreach
Participating schools can access the educational package free of charge and take part in a competition rewarding classes that complete the programme and submit project reports. Educational games, posters and learning materials are among the prizes.
The campaign will also include visits to schools across Poland, with the first events scheduled in the Lubuskie and Wielkopolskie regions.
