Body of missing man recovered at Kąty Rybackie marina. SAR operation launched
Polish Maritime Rescue Services recovered the body of a missing man in his 60s after an early morning search operation at the marina in Kąty Rybackie. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.

At approximately 6:20 a.m., the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre received information from WOPR Sopot regarding the disappearance of a man at the yacht marina in Kąty Rybackie.
According to Sebastian Kluska, Director of the Polish Maritime Search and Rescue Service (SAR), the Coastal Rescue Station in Sztutowo was immediately dispatched to the scene.
SAR, police and firefighters involved
After arriving at the marina, SAR rescuers — working alongside Polish Police officers — located the body of the missing man in the area indicated by authorities.
Firefighters from Nowy Dwór Gdański also participated in the emergency response.
Initial findings indicate that four men were staying aboard the yacht at the time of the incident.
Police investigation underway
Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the man's death. No further official details regarding the cause of death have been released.
Kąty Rybackie, located on the Vistula Spit, is a well-known sailing and marina destination frequently visited by recreational and tourist vessels during the sailing season.
